- 1. Introduction/Statement of Intent USACE Seattle District intends to award a single source contract for a Pelco brand Digital Video Recorder. 2. Description of Supplies/Services Quantity one (1) each of Pelco brand Digital Video Recorder; part number DX8116-1000. 3. Authority FAR Part 6.302-1 4. Reasons for Single Source This action is to replace an existing Pelco brand digital video recorder that has become inoperable. Part and brand name specific requirement is to stay consistent with current security system configuration and software programming. 5. Questions No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider responses received by 5:00 p.m. (PST) on September 9th, 2011. Inquiries will only be accepted via email to jason.g.herrera@usace.army.mil No telephone requests will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
