- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures IAW FAR Part 13 for Commercial Items. This announcement constitutes the solicitation. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/ ). The Request for Quote (RFQ) number is N00244-11-T-0544. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-26 effective August 4, 2011 and DFARS Change Notice 20110819. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dfars/index.htm. The NAICS code is 334516 and the Small Business Standard Size is 500 employees. This is an unrestricted procurement. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, San Diego intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order as a result of this RFQ. The attached copy of the solicitation contains a complete description of the statement of work and applicable provisions and clauses. The government is seeking for new materials only. All responsible businesses capable of meeting the requirements of the solicitation are encouraged to respond. The announcement will close on 09 September 2011 at 4:00 p.m. PST. Pre-bid inquiries shall be submitted to the Contract Specialist, Christina Beal via e-mail at email address: Christina.e.beal@navy.mil Central Contractor Registration (CCR): Contractors must be registered in the CCR database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.ccr.gov/. All quotes shall include price(s), FOB point, a point of contact, name and phone number, business size, and payment terms. Quotes over 10 pages in total will not be accepted by facsimile. Each response must clearly indicate the capability of the contractor to meet all specifications and requirements of the solicitation.
