- The US Army Aviation and Missile Command has a Firm Fixed Price requirement for the acquisition of Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) Unitary Increment IV Proof of Performance (POP) demonstration selectable unitary warheads from Ensign-Bickford Aerospace and Defense Company, 640 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury CT, 06070-2420. These items are R&D rocket components needed for rocket flight testing. Solicitation number W9124P-11-T-0068 is to be a Sole-Source procurement in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1 (b) (1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. CLIN 0001 will be issued for one (1) Selectable Unitary Warhead - Low Output Configuration and CLIN 0002 will be issued for one (1) Selectable Unitary Warhead - High Output Configuration. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency, if received by 8 September 2011, 10:30 AM (local time). In the event more than one quote is received, the following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical capability of the items offered to meet the Government requirement, price, and delivery. Contract award is anticipated by 16 September, 2011. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
