- SF-1449 Combined synopsis/solicitation word file. Request for fuel contract Physical Support Branch, Maintenance and Repair unit, request the award of a contract for the purchase of 10,000 gallon of #2 off road diesel fuel. Due to navigational issues the Maintenance and Repair unit will be conducting dredging operations above USAF L/D in North Minneapolis, an area known as the "Turning Basin" on the Upper Mississippi. Because of to this mission change it is necessary to purchase fuel to the Dredge Dubuque. Scope of Work Purchase and delivery of up to 10,000 gallons of #2 off road diesel Delivery will have to be coordinated with the onsite supervisor, Knute Knutson, 507-951-9187. The Dredge Dubuque has limited storage capacity for fuel because of this the fuel will be required to be delivered in lesser amounts to be determined by Mr. Knutson. The Government will give a minimum 24 hour notice when deliveries are needed with a minimum amount 1000 gallons per delivery. Directions to drop site Traveling north on 2nd Street (above the Lowry Ave Bridge) in Minneapolis, turn right on 33rd Avenue and travel toward the river. After crossing the railroad tracks take an immediate left and follow the fence line back to the stockpile.
