- FBO Posting XRTS Motion Control System - Exhibit A. SLAC seeks vendors that can provide the following: 1 Each of Motion Control System. The Motion System is used to precisely locate the Forward Scattering X-ray Thompson Spectrometer (XRTS) relative to the samples under test. The unit will operate in and must be compatible with a 10-6 Torr vacuum environment. The Spectrometer is part of the target diagnostics suite used in the Matter in Extreme Conditions Instrument (MECI). REFER TO THE ATTACHED "EXHIBIT A" FOR THE COMPLETE LIST OF SPECIFICATIONS. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. VENDORS INTERESTED IN BEING CONSIDERED AS A POTENTIAL SOURCE SHOULD IDENTIFY THEMSELVES AS AN "INTERESTED PARTY" VIA THE FBO PORTAL.
