- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION: AAC/PKOAB, Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for UPS for EBN with specifics as listed below. This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) number F1T0AT1189A001. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 332618 with a size standard of 500 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The requirement consists of the following items: 0001: Purchase and Install security fence and roll-up doors IAW the attached SOO. -- A Site Visit will be held on 29 Aug 2011 at 0900CST at the 33rd Maintenance Facility, Building 1417, at Eglin AFB, FL. See Clause: AFFARS 5352.242-9000, Contractor Access to Air Force Installations (attached) for base access instructions. Directions to the Site Visit on Eglin AFB Entering the East Gate from Valparaiso, FL: Follow Eglin Blvd around flight line Turn Right at an F-15 model onto Nomad Way into the 33rd Fighter Wing Turn Right after the Nomad Memorial Building 1417 is the first building on Left side Use second door/entrance: Maintenance Entrance Base Pass Request letter must be submitted at least 3 days prior to Site Visit to Contracting Specialist Strictly enforced on Eglin AFB: speed limit, cell phones must be hands free & no texting while driving. Provide estimated delivery and install date ARO. Pricing should include shipping and delivery costs, FOB Destination.
