- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, W911SO-1196N033, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This announcement incorporates FAR provisions and clauses in effect through FAR FAC 2005-53. The NAICS Code is 337214 with a standard business size of 500 employees. This is a Total Small Business Set-a-Side. Site visit will be conducted from 0930-1100 a.m. on 1 September 2011 at U.S. Army Aviation Logistic School, Bldg 2716C, McMahon Ave, Fort Eustis, VA 23604. The following commercial items are requested in this solicitation: See Attached Specifications LABOR: INSTALLATION OF NEW FURNITURE (See Details Below) The vendor shall be responsible for the following items and MUST include the cost in the quote. 1. Rental of any equipment needed on job site. 2. Unloading / Unpacking of furniture and removal of all debris from site. 3. Connect power feeds to wall sockets. Electrical installation - must include removal of 2 existing outlets and installation of 2 base feed outlets. This electrical work shall be accomplished by a licensed electrician. 4. Installation and assembly of new furniture - moving/set-up of furniture and accessories in rooms. 5. Installer shall meet trucks at the building on base at designated time and date and unload all furniture into building, dust and assemble any pieces requiring assembly and conduct final walk-through with customer and get "sign off" for job. 6. Installation crew will do everything possible to work with Government personnel to ensure total satisfaction for the customer. 7. Please insure that containers are shipped and off loaded properly as to not incur any damage on containers. Vendor will be responsible for payment of any damage incurred. 8. The vendor must provide customer with accurate delivery/installation dates in order for the customer to empty/clear designated offices. New equipment ONLY, NO remanufactured or used products. All firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database @ www.ccr.gov and accept a Government purchase order to be considered for award. Offerors shall submit their quotations via email to sonja.y.davis@conus.army.mil. The due date for receipt of quotes is 05:00 PM. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Friday, September 9, 2011. Basis for this award will be "Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable" LPTA). Date of delivery shall be no later than 60 days ADC, FOB: Destination for delivery to U.S. Army Aviation Logistic School, Bldg 2716C, McMahon Ave, Fort Eustis, VA 23604.
