- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, FY11-F4A3301175A018-AIRSEATS-TYNDALLAFB, is being issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-53. This procurement is a 100% Small Business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2 (a). The NAICS code is 423120 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This RFQ consists of the following items, -or equal-: If submitting an -or equal- product, please supply manufacturer name and part number, and specifications if available. If equal, vendor must provide information with quote proving the equality of the items. Technical acceptability of or equal products shall be determined by the government. Line Items to include: ITEM 0001: Sears EZRider Air Ride Seats, Black, for buses (P/N FU8231BLSNNN) or equal; Qty: 9 ea. ITEM 0002: Sears EZRider Air Ride Seats, Black, for tractors (P/N DMS6J511HQBNNNN) or equal; Qty: 10 ea. Salient characteristics for each are as follows: • Contoured magnesium support structure (no tube frame) provide the foundation for orthopedic quality cushions. • Orthopedic quality cushions feature 3 in. of foam on the centerline for maximum comfort • 4 cushion design, air lumbar support provides ergonomically correct support • The new super smooth and durable Toggle-link air suspension provides superior lateral support. No side to side rocking. Features a 6 in. stroke • Heavy duty shock damper. • Heavy duty, double locking sliderails. 9 in. of travel. • Seat tilt & extension operate independently to fit drivers of all sizes • Re-designed tilt up and height adjustable armrests with easy operating turn knob • Fore/aft isolator with lockout • Backrest recline - full range • Includes height and tilt adjustable armrests • 10 year / million mile warranty on suspension / frame • Onboard air source required Suspension Type: Air Suspension Shock Dampers: Single HD, 1.62 in. diameter Item Weight: 105 lbs. Operator Weight: 350 lbs. Additional notes: contractors are asked to submit their tax identification number and estimated delivery timeframe with their proposal.
