- SYNOPSIS FOR DEHUMIDIFIER/AIR CONDITIONER DLA Maritime “ Puget Sound & IMF is issuing a solicitation and subsequently a Firm Fixed Price type contract for two (2) dehumidifier/air conditioners that will be will be used to provide temperature and humidity controls for personnel comfort when working inside submarine tanks and compartments Requirements: CLIN S 0001 “ Two (2) Dehumidifier/Air Conditioners (Name Brand or Equal) “ Industrial Vacuum Equipment Corporation, Model Hurricane DH/AC 7000 Dehumidifier/Air Conditioner; 0002 “ Installation and Set-up; 0003 “ On-Site Operator Personnel Training; 0004 “ On-Site Maintenance Personnel Training; 0005 “ Recommended Spare Parts List; and 0006 “ Technical Data. Delivery: F.O.B Destination The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334512 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside and only qualified quoters may submit quotes. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website https://www.neco.navy.mil/. Prospective quoters are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the quoter to access the posted documents. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed. The solicitation shall be posted on or about 06 August 2011 with a response date of on or about 19 September 2011. The buyer will NOT provide a hard copy of the Solicitation package. Quoter must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database before an award can be made to them. If the quoter is not registered in the CCR, it may do so through the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov.
