- Health Care Acquisition Activity-North intends to issue a Blanket Purchase Agreement with TimeMed Labeling Systems, Inc. Burr Ridge, IL for seven different label types required for daily inpatient and outpatient pharmacy operations at Ireland Army Community Hospital (IACH), under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The IACH pharmacy is currently using TimeMed Labeling System's customized labels. Existing pharmacy label templates from TimeMed have been calibrated by product enginneers to meet certain label specifications (e.g. thickness, height, width, partitions, font, etc). All equipment in the pharmacy utilizing the labels have been calibrated in accordance with TimeMed's customized templates. This requirement will be procured in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13, using simplified acquisition procedures. NAICS code is 339112, size standard of 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Agency. Offerors certain they can meet the requirement may submit in writing an affirmative response and statement of technical capabilities. All written responses must include a written narrative statement of capability, including detailed technical information demonstrating their ability to meet the above requirement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Affirmative written response must be received no later than 6 Sep 2011.
