- Questions and answers posted 8/29/2011 9:22 AM EST: My company has an interest in this project. In the solicitation it mentions a site visit is encouraged to verify dimensions. My question is would photos of the work space be allowed? Photos of the area are being added to the solicitation.  Are products required to be under GSA Schedule.  What type of rifles will be stored. (M16A4's for example)  Are shotguns a standard pump or automatic.  There are three types of Tasers that we typically store. What type are to be stored in this system.  Are key locks acceptable on these cabinets.  When is the actual bid due. Rifles stored are primarily Colt AR-15 A2 carbines. We occasionally have up to 10 Colt M16s full size rifles. Products are not required to be under GSA Schedule. Shotguns are primarily Remington 870 Police Magnums. We have approximately 10-20 Remington 1100 Semi-Autos. TASERS are all X26 Key locks are acceptable Bids must be faxed or emailed to pzagaruyka@fs.fed.us no later than 3:00 PM EST on 9/12/2011. I have a question about the long gun storage on this project. The specification says that 312 long guns are to be stored. The drawing shows cabinets for 240 long guns. Could you clarify if there are 240 or 312, please? The CORRECT number of long guns is 240.
