- ATK, operating contractor of Allegany Ballistics Laboratory located in Rocket Center WV and owned by NAVSEA, anticipates the award of the referenced FFP bid package to provide construction, alteration and repair to Government facilities. The project involves construction of two 5430 sf reinforced concrete storage magazines. The work consists of earthwork; drainage; asphalt pavement; fencing; concrete foundations, slab on grade walls, columns, and roof; waterproofing membrane; sliding doors; electrical power and communications wiring; lighting; and incidental related work. A WV contractor's license is required to perform work on this facility and a copy of the license is required with bid submission. Davis Bacon wage rates are applicable. Performance and Payment Bonds are required. A bid package fee of $50 for electronic drawings and $150 for full size hard copy drawings must be paid in advance of bid package release. Bid package will be available on or after SEPTEMBER 13, 2011.
