- Description
- The scope of this project consists of replacement of the existing air cooled chiller (80 tons), replacement of the existing chilled water pump (300 gpm, 7.5 hp, constant volume) with new duplex chilled water pumps (for duty/standby capability), replacement of the two existing heating water pumps (70 gpm, 3 hp each, constant volume, currently in duty/standby configuration), and installation of new direct digital controls to monitor and manage the new equipment/systems through the station's existing Bacnet energy management system. New piping and accessories will be installed with the new chiller as well as the replacement chilled water pumps back to where the existing system piping enters/leaves the mechanical room. New piping and accessories will be installed between the heating water pumps and the existing steam heat exchanger (to remain) and system piping entering/leaving the mechanical room. HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF FUNDS FOR THIS YEAR
