- Description
- INTENT TO AWARD BRAND NAME ONLY IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 6.302-1(c) Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) intends to issue a firm-fixed price requirements contract with one (1) base year plus two (2) option years to procure various types of fitness equipment. The Statutory Authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1, when there is a supply or service available only from one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the agency's needs. The FOB point is Letterkenny Army Depot (Destination). Solicitation number W911N2-11-R-0061 will be released O/A 30 June 2011, Closing date: O/A 1 August 2011. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated closing date. All interested sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by this agency.
