- This synopsis is a modification to solicitation number, W58RGZ11R0469 previously announced. This is a Request for Proposal for, #3 Bearing Alignment Guide at a Quantity of 150 each. The proposed contract action is for supplies which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Only One Source under the Authority of 10 U.S.C.2304 (C) (1), as Implemented FAR 6.302-1 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR) entitled Only one Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposal. The Authority cited is 10 U.S.C.2304 (C) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Honeywell is the only known source that can provide #3 Bearing Alignment Guide. Honeywell is the original equipment manufacturer for the #3 Bearing used in the 755-GA-714A Engine, which is purchased on a Sole-Source basis from Honeywell International, Aerospace, Customer and Product Support, Ground Support Solutions, 717 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN, 46628. SEE NOTES 22.
