- Description
- The 802nd Contracting Squadron at Lackland AFB, TX intends to award a Sole Source contract to Rsignia, Inc., 9693 Gerwig Lane, Suite O, Columbia, MD, 21046 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for the upgrade of Joint Forces Sensor Network Interface Cards (NIC) and SFP Transceivers for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Rsignia, Inc. on a sole source basis due to proprietary information protected by copyright laws and compatibility with Government-owned equipment. The NAICS Code is 334119 and the small business standard size is 1,000. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency. Proposals must be received not later than 01 September 2011, 12:00 p.m. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposal procurement action based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this notice.
