Description

The VISN 23 Network Purchase and Contracts, Des Moines Division intends to make a sole source award to Covenant Construction for Construction Project Number 618-CSI-201 (Des Moines) under Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Health Care and Information Technology Act of 2008, which is codified at 38 USC Sections 8127 and 8128, and specifically Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation (VAAR 819.7007, Dec 2009) which allows for a sole source acquisition to a Services Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. Project Number 618-CSI-201 (Des Moines) includes installing electrical conduit and wiring from the telecom and electrical rooms respectively in the interstitial space above the ceiling leading to individual patient rooms. The estimated cost for the requirement is $122,000.00. A copy of the Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition is enclosed with this notice.
