- BANGKOK, THAILAND: INTERNATIONAL TRADE SPECIALIST – PERSONAL SERVICE CONTRACT (PSC) Combined Synopsis and Solicitation: USTDA-CO201131210 International Trade Specialist for work in Bangkok, Thailand Short-Term Personal Services Contract for the U.S. Trade and Development Agency is being issued. The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) is seeking a U.S. personal services contractor (PSC) to fill the position of South and Southeast Asia Business Development Manager in Bangkok, Thailand. The candidate chosen for this position will be expected to work independently and will report to the Regional Director for South and Southeast Asia in Arlington, Virginia. The person must be a citizen of the United States. The function of the position is to identify major infrastructure and industrial project opportunities for participation by USTDA in South and Southeast Asia, follow-up on the status of USTDA investments, and ensure formalization and implementation of USTDA grants and contracts. Details of specific duties are attached. The PSC would work closely with public and private sector project sponsors; lending institutions; and federal agencies, including the U.S. Departments of Commerce and State, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) and the U.S. Export-Import Bank. POSITION TITLE: INTERNATIONAL TRADE SPECIALIST - PSC MARKET VALUE: Equivalent to GS-13 level ($71,674 to $93,175) (Salary based on certified salary history and market value of the position) PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: (Estimated) November 2011 - November 2012 (ONE-YEAR BASE, WITH 2, ONE-YEAR OPTIONS) PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: U.S. Embassy, Bangkok, Thailand MEDICAL: Physical Examination will be required SECURITY ACCESS: Secret Clearance will be required AREA OF CONSIDERATION: Limited to U.S. Citizens or Resident Aliens FOR MORE INFORMAITON GO TO ANNOUNCEMENT
