- Washer/Dryer Synopsis/Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Parts 12 and 13.5 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a request for washers and dryers to include recurring service as required in several base facilities at Fairchild AFB in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) (Attach 2) and other associated documents. The contract consists of a period of a Base Year from 01 October 2011 through 30 September 2012 and two, one year option periods. Solicitation FA4620-11-Q-A004 is issued as a request for quote, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53 effective 04 August 2011. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 532210 and the size standard is $7.0M. This procurement will be a 100% Small Business Set-aside. Unit Small Business Specialist is Michael P. Quotes are due no later than Wednesday, 14 September 2011 at 1:00 PM Pacific Daylight Savings Time. Upon award, payment for delivered services will be through the Department of Defense invoicing system; Wide Area Workflow (Attachment 3). A site visit will be held on 7 September 2011 at 10:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time. Offerors wishing to attent the site vist may submit up to two (2) names for attendance of the site visit. Submit names of individuals wanting to attend the site visit to SSgt Justin Hayes via email at, justin.hayes.2@us.af.mil. Please include full name of individuals wishing to attend. Submit names no later than 6 Sep 2011 at 10:00AM PDT. Failure to submitt names in a timely manner may prevent potential offerors from gaining entry to Fairchild.
