Description

FAR 13.106 justification DLA Disposition Services intends to award a sole source contract to Emerson Network Power, Liebert Services (Emerson/Liebert), for the installation of batteries and the purchase and installation of capacitors into an existing Emerson/Liebert Uninterruptible Power System (UPS). The capacitors are Emerson/Liebert equipment. The battery requirement was solicited under SP451011Q1011, but the installation is to be perfomed by Emerson/Liebert as a sole source requirement in order to maintain existing service agreements and warranty of the UPS system. Limited sources justification in accordance with FAR 13.106(b) is attached. Any firm that believes it can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 7 days from the date of publication of this announcement. Supporting evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. Any responses received will be evaluated, however a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, DLA Disposition Services will proceed with awarding a firm-fixed price contract to Emerson Network Power, Liebert Services.
