- Description
- This is a follow-on contract with Oneida Total Integrated Enterprises for a firm fixed-price, 8(a) direct-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract to an American Native and tribally owned firm for minor non-complex construction projects for maintenance, alteration or repair of real property or base infrastructure at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California and its associated sites. The contractor will be required to furnish all materials, equipment, and personnel necessary to manage and accomplish projects. In general, the SABER program contractor would be expected to accomplish a wide variety of tasks in a variety of trades including, but not limited to, carpentry, roofing, excavation, electrical, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, demolition, mechanical, concrete masonry, welding and other general contracting work. The anticipated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 / Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a size standard of $33,500,000.00. The contract performance shall be three (3) years, to include a base period of 12-months (24 Aug 2011 - 23 Aug 2012) and two, 12-month option years (extending through 23 Aug 2014) exercised through the unilateral right of the government.
