- Description
- The Billings Area Indian Health Service (IHS) intends to award a non-competitive purchase order to Johnson Controls, Incorporated, 5757 North Green Bay Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53209-4408, for Preventive Maintenance Services on the Building Automation and Fire Suppression Systems at the Blackfeet Service Unit facilities in Browning and Heart Butte, Montana. Johnson Controls, Incorporated, is the proprietary owner of the building automation systems at the facilities and is the only vendor certified to perform the work on the systems. The procurement will be conducted pursuant to the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The IHS anticipates the award of a fixed-price purchase order for the period October 1, 2011, through September 30, 2012. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
