- This solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR 13. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N00164-11-T-0260; http://www.fbo.gov/ is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division has a requirement for a commercial firm fixed price (FFP) contract on a competitive basis. This purposed contract action is 100% Set Aside for Small Business CLIN 001 “ X-Ray Bench top Energy Dispersive Fluorescence (EDXRF). Vendors are requested to fill in the spreadsheet with the required minimum/maximum specifications. The first column states a YES or NO answer. If the proposed product specification exceeds the request, and explanation must be entered into column two. Vendors are also asked to prepare their proposal in the manner in which it will be invoiced. This solicitation is set up in one lot, however if there are multiple lines with pricing, please respond that way. If all items can go into one line, please do so, however the meets/exceeds spreadsheet MUST be filled out and returned. Provide product literature of quoted item. Installation shall take place In Accordance With (IAW) Statement of Work incorporated in the solicitation. Inspection and Acceptance is to be at destination with delivery FOB Destination: NSWC Crane, IN 47522-5001. The applicable NAICS Classification is 335416 and the size standard is 500. To be eligible for award of a Government contract, contractors must be properly registered in the Government ™s Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on CCR registration annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the internet at www.ccr.gov. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
