Description
The AAC/PKOBB, Eglin AFB., Florida intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for the purchase of a control interface for new captive flight trailer at Eglin AFB., Florida. CLIN 0001: (1 LOT) CONTROL INTERFACE FOR NEW CAPTIVE FLIGHT TRAILER (CFT) IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GOVERNMENT REQUIREMENTS DOCUMENT DATED 22 JULY 2011. INCLUDES INSTALLATION AND INTEGRATION WITH ON HAND GOVERNMENT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT (GFE), TRAVEL IN ACCORDANCE WITH JOINT TRAVEL REGULATION, AND SHIPPING (FIRM FIXED PRICE). Specifications: GOVERNMENT REQUIREMENTS DOCUMENT FOR CONTROL INTERFACE FOR NEW CAPTIVE FLIGHT TRAILER (CFT) DATED 22 JULY 2011 VOICE OVER INTERNET PROTOCOL (VOIP) RADIO CONSOL, INSTALLED ON A RACK MOUNTED PC WORKSTATION. FIVE (5) GOVERNMENT FURNISHED RADIOS REQUIRED TO BE INTERFACED TO ALLOW THE OPERATOR TO SELECT AND COMMUNICATE WITH MULTIPLE AIRCRAFT AND GROUND PERSONNEL. THIS INTERFACE MUST BE ABLE TO CONTROL AND MANAGE THESE FIVE (5) SYSTEMS, WITH THE ABILITY TO CONTROL UP TO EIGHT (8) SYSTEMS ALLOWING FOR FUTURE EXPANSION. THE GOVERNMENT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT (GFE) TO WHICH THE SYSTEM MUST INTERFACE WITH ARE TWO (2) MOTOROLA MCS2000, ONE (1) MOTOROLA XTL5000 AND TWO (2) GENERAL DYNAMICS URC-200 RADIOS, STANDARD 19" EQUIPMENT RACK, ASSOCIATED RF CABLING, ANTENNAS, AND THE CFT. THE SYSTEM MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO SELECT A PRIMARY INCOMING AND OUTGOING RADIO SYSTEM, WHILE MONITORING ALL OTHER RADIOS CONNECTED TO THE SYSTEM. AS PART OF THIS PURCHASE, THE ABOVE MENTIONED RADIOS MUST BE INTERFACED AND BE INSTALLED FOR USE IN THE GOVERNMENT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT CAPTIVE FLIGHT TRAILER. NETWORK CABLING IS PREINSTALLED TO SIX (6) CONTROL STATIONS AND THE STANDARD 19" EQUIPMENT RACK. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: • COMPUTER SYSTEM TO MANAGE THE INTERFACE SYSTEM WITH WINDOWS VISTA OR WINDOWS 7 INSTALLED (RACK MOUNTED) • GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE AND APPLICATION, TOUCH SCREEN CAPABLE • TWO (2) OPERATOR POSITIONS WITH AT LEAST 19" BUT NO MORE THAN 22" TOUCH SCREEN MONITORS • FOUR (4) HEADSETS WITH INTEGRATED PUSH TO TALK SWITCHES • EXTERNAL GOOSENECK MIROPHONE AND POWERED SPEAKERS FOR TWO (2) OPERATORS • 24 PORT ETHERNET NETWORK SWITCH • RADIO GATEWAY • ALL ASSOCIATED CABLING This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The announcement number is F1T0CY1209A001. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334290 with a size standard of 750 employees. This is 100% Set-aside for small business concerns. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. Award will be made on the lowest price technically acceptable.
