- Description
- This project consists of site improvements at Davy Brown Campground, Cachuma Campground and Cumbre Day Use Area located on the Santa Lucia Ranger District of the Los Padres National Forest. Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following items of work: 1. Construction of concrete sidewalks and building aprons and associated site preparation and grading. 2. Demolition of existing vault toilet buildings at Davy Brown Campground (four buildings), Cachuma Campground (one building) and Cumbre Day Use Area (one building). 3. Provide water and base for the installation of new vault toilet buildings at Davy Brown Campground (two vault buildings), Cachuma Campground (one vault building) and Cumbre Day Use Area (one vault building). Vault toilet building to be installed by others. 4. Obtain permits required for the work listed above and any other permits necessary to complete the project. All permits are the responsibility of the contractor, and will not be provided by the government. A. This work consists of submittal of grading plans for: designated ABA accessible concrete aprons and walkways, drainage swales and vault toilet building finished floor elevations. Work also consists of survey work, construction staking, and other field engineering, and quality control work, necessary to implement the contract as specified here within. B. This work shall include necessary survey and engineering for providing for as-built drawings, and for calculation of proposed and approved changes. C. The Contractor shall be required to perform calculations from given dimensions and scale dimensions from drawings as required.
