Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is AG-04T0-S-11-0042 and this solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation are found in full text form at http://arnet.gov/far. This is a small business set-aside with an associated NAICS code of 441221 and small business size standard of $30.0 million dollars. The following are the specifications for the 2 new UTV's (ready for use): The primary purpose of this vehicle is for sand patrol. Specifications: - Between 800-900cc Engine, actual cubic centimeter must be equal to or exceed 800. - Ground clearance of at least 12" / Suspension Travel (shocks) of at least 12" - Roll Cage - Maximum Dry Weight of 1,200 lbs. (not including add-ons) - Automatic Transmission - 4-wheel Drive Shaft - Two passenger with one (1) adjustable seats - Rearview Mirror (installed) - Poly Roof / Rear Panel / full or ½ Doors (installed) - Full windshield with wiper blade (installed) - HID conversion headlight kit or equivalent (included/installed) - Winch (~3500 lbs) (installed) - Locking cargo box/storage container - Primary/base color of UTV: white or black - no bright colors If the Yamaha Rhino is included in your Quote safety/manufacture recall must have been fixed. The offeror must furnish as part of its offer all descriptive materials or brochures necessary for the contracting activity to determine whether the product offered meets the requirements of the solicitation and establish exactly what the offeror proposes to furnish.
