- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requisition Number W81EWF12158058 is being issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) with intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-50. This requirement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses under NAICS Code 334516 with employees not exceeding 500. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) at Waterways Experiment Station (WES), Vicksburg, MS, Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory (CHL) has a requirement for the following: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) needs to purchase a portable X-ray Diffractometer (XRD) and X-ray Fluorometer (XRF). This instrument will be delivered to David Perkey at the Engineer Research and Development Center, 3909 Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg, MS 39180-6199. Requirements are given below: REQUIREMENTS: SEE THE ATTACHED STATEMENT OF WORK Please provide quote as follows: CLIN 0001 - Description: portable X-ray Diffractometer (XRD) and X-ray Fluorometer (XRF), Quantity: 1, Unit: Each, for InXitu BTXII XRF/ XRD analyser or equal to meet the specifications outlined in the attached Statement of Work. Unit Price: $____________, Total Price: $____________ FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall submit technical data on the items quoted. FAR Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose quote is determined to be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. Offerors must include a completed copy of FAR Provision 52.212-3 Alt I, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, with its offer. FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
