- This is an amendment to a previously announced Combined Synopsis Solicitation for Trash Compactor, Hopper and Dumper at Great Sand Dunes Park & Preserve. This amendment provides additional information for the Stationary Trash Compactor, Sebright Model 4260 or Equal. Salient Features for the Stationary Compactor are as follows:o Overall length from wall to container mating surface (including required space between unit and wall): 9.75 feeto Abrasive resistant floor (AR 235) minimum plateo Minimum 3/8 side plateso Clear top opening 36 x 58o Large Cylinder (greater than 3 solid rod)o 40 gallon hydraulic reservoiro Long motor life (T.E.F.C)o Remote station with container full lighto Liquid filled pressure gaugeo Ram Position Switcho Deadman selector switcho Single cylinder (not cross cylindered)o Maximum packing force of greater than 50,000 psio Minimum 5 HP single phase 110v or 220v motoro Multi cycle timer (selectable 1-3 cycles per start)o Single control, NEMA 4 control panel with lockable weather covero Guide rails for roll-off receiver containero No pavement protection is required unit is to be installed on 6 concrete slabo Heaters installed as required for operation in -10* F weathero Compactor base weight greater than 4,000 poundso Industry rated greater than 1.2 cubic yard capacityo A solar powered compactor would be acceptable.o 5-year frame and ram warrantyo 1-year parts and labor warranty PLEASE NOTE: There is a drawing that illustrates the locations of these items at the park.
