- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code for this project is 333319 Other Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing, and the size standard is 500 Employees. This solicitation is a Request for Quote set aside for Small Business. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53. Great Sand Dunes National Park & Preserve has a requirement for a Stationary Trash Compactor, Sebright Model 4260 or Equal, to include a custom built Hopper and Dumper. Delivery and Installation is required. No pavement protection is required on the compactor. It is to be installed on a 6" concrete slab. Please provide the following in your bid:COMPACTOR:Cut SheetsCylindar configuration (straight or crossed)Total weight of compactor (compactor only)Actual compaction forceCylinder bore dimensionCylinder rod dimensionLower plate thicknessSide plate thicknessMotor horsepower HOPPER: custom built per these requirements - 4 cubic yard hopper capacity (not including charge box); fully enclosed to prevent bear/wildlife access; right side of charge box; bear resistant latchable easy to operate barn or sliding doors for dumper unloading dumpsters into charge box; and Ozone Generator for odor control. DUMPER: capable of unloading 3 cubic yard dumpsters such as the DSFL-3Y Bearsaver dumpster (www.bearsaver.com) filled with picnic area and campground users refuse.Place of Delivery is Great Sand Dunes National Park & Preserve in Mosca, Colorado; quote FOB Destination.
