Description
Sole Source: The United States Army Contracting Command, Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC), MICC Center - Yuma, U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price (FFP) service contract on a sole source basis with Technical Services Group (TSG), 675-C Progress Center Avenue Lawrenceville, GA 30043. The contract will consist of a 1-year base period with (2) one-year options. This will be a commercial acquisition using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219 with a size standard of $19M. This contract will consist of furnishing all parts, labor, material and equipment to provide on-going maintenance support for the Philips MG451and MG165 X-ray systems, portable 2-axis manipulator, fixed 4-axis manipulator and the Varian 4030 digital imaging system. Additionally, they will provide support for two existing CR100 digital imaging systems, which were acquired through TSG. They will also provide emergency repairs and furnish one replacement MXR 451, 450Kv dual focus metal ceramic X-ray tube in the event the existing tube fails. Each of these subsystems has been integrated by TSG to use a single control console operated with software they developed. TSG holds proprietary knowledge regarding how these systems are interfaced together utilizing the equipment they furnished. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed requirement. If you feel your firm possesses the ability to perform these services, you shall submit technical literature showing your capability of meeting the Government's requirement no later than September 01, 2011.
