- Description
- The Fleet Logistics Support Center, Jacksonville (FLCJAX) Contracting Department anticipates issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the cleaning, inspection and repair of the TF34 High Pressure Compressor (HPC) Rotor Stage 1 Disk using procedure under FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The NAICS is 336412 (Aircraft Engine and Engine Parts Manufacturing), with a size standard of 1,000 employees. This acquisition will be conducted under full and open competition. This acquisition will support the FRCSE with the cleaning, inspection and repair of the TF34 High Pressure Compressor (HPC) Rotor Stage 1 Disk. The HPC Rotor Stage 1 Disk is a Critical Safety Item (CSI) per NAVAIR Instruction 4200.25D. The estimated number of discs to be repaired is 228 per year, at an estimated rate of 19 each per month. The solicitation is anticipated to be for a Firm-Fixed Price, Requirements type contract. The period of performance will be a Base and three one (1)/One (1)-Year Option. The Base Year performance period is anticipated to commence on or about 01 October 2011.
