Description

NOTICE OF INTENT: The VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach FL intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Philips Medical Systems, 22100 Bothell Everett Highway, Bothell, WA 98021-8431 to procure additional components for the newly acquired Philips Angio Table. This is a notice of intent for Sole Source procurement under Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). The associated NAICS Code is 334510. This is a Notice of Intent and is not a request for competitive proposals. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than noon, September 9, 2011 and all responses will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
