Description: RECOVERY--This notice is provided for informational purposes only. The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service intends to modify a firm-fixed price contract to incorporate the following: replace louver, bring existing fire alarm up to code, provide electric for basin heater, relocate cooler box condenser, circuits moved, joist bridging and bulkhead installed in lab, change room 25 to office air and place VAV in room 4, all in Building 35 at the SouthEast Poultry Research Laboratory in the total amount of $83,413.00. This contract was awarded on a sole-source basis in accordance with Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act and 41 U.S.C.253(c)(5). The additional services have been deemed necessary under the current contract and are within scope of the current contract. This opportunity is available only under Contract No. AG-3K15-C-10-0024. This modification will be awarded to SoCo Contracting Company, Inc., 5655 Peachtree Parkway, Suite 117, Norcross, GA 30092.
