- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award on a sole source basis a purchase order to BioTek, Winooski, VT. The purchase order is for the purpose of providing for a Microplate Washer and Dispenser that is needed to perform ELISA and Microneuralization assays in our laboratories. A fast microplate washing along with multiple reagent dispensers in one unit is required. The Biotek EL406 is compatable with current plate stackers that are currently being used by the CDC. The authority for this sole source is FAR 6-302-1- Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 334516. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. However, firms that believe they can provide a Microplate Washer and Dispenser that can perform ELISA and Microneuralization assays must submit written notification of interest and capability to the Contracting Specialist within 15 days from the publication date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries may be sent to David M.
