- Description
- The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA-786-11-RP-0341 for the following service: The contractor shall be required to provide J1 Inscription of Thin Flat Granite Markers, L1 Inscription of Flat Granite Markers, Small and I1 Inscription of Marble Niche Covers for Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside California. All potential offerors will submit at their expense two (2) inscription samples by the closing date of the solicitation. The samples will be used to determine the potential awardees' ability to perform inscriptions. The samples should conform to government specifications for lettering, inscription depth and layout. Each sample shall be marked clearly on the back with indelible marker to show contractor name, solicitation number and name of cemetery. Any sample which arrives damaged will not be acceptable. Sample Requirement for (J1/L1) Inscriptions - one granite inscription sample (12 X 24X 3/4") to be inscribed according to the Statement of Work. Sample Requirement for I1 Inscriptions - one marble inscription sample on a (15-3/4 X 11-1/4" X ¾") plaque to be inscribed according to the Statement of Work. Failure to meet any of the requirements will result in the rejection of the sample(s). The sample(s) shall be received by the closing date of the solicitation. The contractor shall be responsible for all work at the cemetery: Evaluation criteria for this award will be in the following order: 1) Price, 2) Technical Qualifications, and 3) Past Performance. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SB). The NAICS Code is 327991. Size standard is 500 employees. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov on or about August 26, 2011. Responses to the solicitation are due on or about 2:00 P.M. on September 09, 2011. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at www.fbo.gov. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining any amendments.
