- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. This project will involve Installing a 50 foot free standing all purpose tower with required foundation, grounding, obstruction lighting, climbing, and safety equipment/signs for the tower and antennas at Building 1109 and 1804. There are existing towers. Antennas from one tower will be moved to the new tower. Construction of new tower and new cable entry paths must not unnecessarily impact or disrupt current operations. Damaged equipment will be replaced with equal materials at no additional cost to owner. It is to the benefit of the contractor to do a pre-performance inspection to note any damaged equipment prior to work beginning. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. If there are no offers received from a small business concern, this small business set-aside may be dissolved and the acquisition will be made open to all responsive bidders. This acquisition will not be reposted to the Electronic Posting System if the acquisition is dissolved for 100% small business consideration. The NAICS code is 237130, and the size standard is $33.5. Site Inspection Location: 187th Fighter Wing, 5187 Selma Highway, Montgomery, Alabama, 36108-4824. All request referencing RFQ #W912JA-11-Q-0012, must be in writing an can be emailed to SMSgt Dorothy W. Brown at Dorothy.brown@ang.af.mil or 187FWContracting@ang.af.mil or faxed to (334) 394-7452. No telephone request for solicitation packages will be accepted. Quotations must be received no later than Close of Business September 20, 2011. The Government intends to award and Firm Fixed Price contract. The Government intends to enter into an agreement without discussions, never the less, the Government may communicate with an offer in order to clarify or verify information submitted in its offer.
