- FABRICATED HELICOPTER LOAD WEIGHTS The US Marine Corps Air Station Miramar (San Diego, CA 92145) has a requirement for load testing weights for its training aircraft. Please bid the following items FOB DESTINATION and provide your company ™s CAGE and DUNS numbers. All technical questions about this requirement can be answered before 1200N PST Thursday, September 01, 2011 at 858-577-1662 (LtCol Tim Sheyda 858-577-1662). Bids are due by email (George.Woerner@usmc.mil; size limit 3mb) and fax (858-577-1492) ONLY, on or before 5:00pm PST Friday, September 02, 2011. ITEM 001: QTY = 1. 10,000 pound steel beam load. Load must be fabricated to specifications provided (see attachments). Must include identification placard, a visible stamp for the load ™s weight (visible to aircrews from an altitude of 50 feet, attachment points being the size and dimensions of the dual connection points (MIL-STD-209J attached) and the load must not exceed 14 feet in length. ITEM 002: QTY = 5. 6,000 pound steel beam load. Load must be fabricated to specifications provided (see attachments). Must include identification placard, a visible stamp for the load ™s weight (visible to aircrews from an altitude of 50 feet, attachment points being the size and dimensions of the dual connection points (MIL-STD-209J attached) and the load must not exceed 14 feet in length. Award criteria include the ability of the provide to the Government ™s exact specifications, price and delivery.
