- The Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of the United States House of Representatives (House) is seeking an online ordering service for office supplies that can provide next day delivery to House offices nationwide and throughout the U.S. territories. By seeking a single vendor for online ordering and next day delivery of office supplies, the House expects to benefit from low prices and high quality customer service. The House desires to attain a high level of office participation in the online ordering program. Vendor success in achieving a high level of office participation will depend to a great degree on sales and marketing efforts and the ease of use of the vendor's website. This RFP and any amendments, if any, are available electronically through the following website http://www.house.gov/content/vendors/. Questions relating to this RFP shall be submitted in via email Toinetta Bridgeforth at Toinetta.bridgeforth@mail.house.gov on August 5, 2011. Written responses to all questions will be provided in the form of an amendment to this solicitation. The deadline for receipt of proposals is August 22, 2011. No verbal requests for the solicitation package will be honored.
