- This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Mission Installation Command Contracting Center, Ft. Knox, intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for Moving and Assembling Services for Barracks Furniture. The solicitation will be posted to the MICC Center - Fort Knox homepage at http://doc.knox.army.mil and the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov with offers due on August 31, 2011. These dates are subject to change. Paper copies of the RFQ will not be available. All documentation can and must be downloaded from the website above. This solicitation will be set-aside for small business. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded. Anticipated award date will be NLT September 2, 2011. All responsible businesses may submit an offer which shall be considered. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award of a contract. Faxed offers or amendments will not be accepted.
