- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to The Nielsen Company 770 Broadway New York, New York 10003. This is a special notice to determine the availability of potential vendors that can provide the accurate data as specified below. In order to provide valid estimates of media campaign exposure for each state, as part of reporting for CDC's Tobacco Control State Highlights, CDC requires all 2010 television ratings data for tobacco-related television advertising sponsored by state health departments, tobacco control programs, or related not-for-profit foundations, as well as anti-tobacco advertising sponsored by the American Legacy Foundation. Data Monitor-Plus advertising occurrences and associated ratings data among P12-17, P18-54 across 129 Full Discovery Markets, and ratings data only (P12-17, P18-54) across 81 Automated Discovery Markets for date/time occurrences to be provided by UICIHRP. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a CAPABILITY STATEMENT THAT MUST DEMOSTRATE THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OUTLINED ABOVE. Capability statements shall include the following information: company name, address, point of contact, phone/fax/email, and business size and status. Responses must be received by 2:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, September 9, 2011. Responses should be submitted to: Matthew Ellington 2920 Brandywine Road N.E. M/S E-01 Atlanta, GA 30341. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received before the closing of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This procurement is not set-aside for small business.
