- Description
- The existing roof at WFO BRO Brownsville, TX is in need of replacement. Frequent high corrosive conditions of the local area have penetrated through the metal roof at several locations. The roof has undergone several spot repairs during the past year to stop leakage. It is recommended that the standing seam metal roof be replaced by a new standing seam metal roof. The Contractor shall replace the existing Standing Seam Metal Roof and Building Lightning Protection System at the National Weather Service (NWS) Forecast Office in Brownsville, TX with new Standing Seam Metal Roof (SSMR). The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment and all miscellanious materials, labor and equipment as necessary to provide complete and new Standing Seam Metal Roof System, and to perform all necessary and required work to remove and replace the existing standing metal seam roof at the National Weather Service (NWS), Weather Forecast Office, Brownsville, Texas.
