- Description
- The goal of the BRAVO-NG project is to provide alternative solutions for the Dynamic Tactical Communication Networks (DTCN) program to improve communication technologies for the Navy mobile wireless networks through IP protocol additions for a search and rescue operational scenario with ground and air assests as well as 10x gains in large networks. BRAVO-NG leverages the network coding and gradient-based routing framework developed under the ONR-funded Adaptive Networking 6.2 BRAVO project. BRAVO-NG matures these BRAVO protocols for comparison with the DTCN protocols under NRL-designed scenarios. Software developed under the BRAVO-NG effort will achieve a technology readiness level consistent with the other performers and may be incorporated into the official DTCN protocol suite.
