- Justification and Approval (Redacted) The 30th Contracting Squadron, Vandenberg AFB, CA intends to award sole source procurement to iRobot Corporation to provide the small unmanned ground vehicle (SUGV) 310. The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 333999 with a business size standard of 500 employees. The proposed contract is for an item for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 13.106(a). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 15 days (NLT 10 Sep 2011 4:00 PM PST) after date of publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The 30th Contracting Squadron will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information. A firm is required to be registered in DoD Central Contractor Registration Database (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov), ORCA (www.bpn.gov) and Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) prior to award of any contracts or agreements. Firms must register on a one-time basis, and annually confirm accuracy and completeness of registration information. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs."
