- The U.S. Military Academy, Directorate of Contracting, West Point, N.Y. is seeking sources for the purchase of one (1) Diffusion cloud chamber 09046.90 to be located here at the West Point Military Academy. This equipment should include: Diffusion Cloud Chamber Specifications: Observation Chamber 450mm x 450mm Chamber Base 600mm x 640mm x 640mm Working Liquid 2-Propanol, pure (99.9%) Tank Volume 2 liters Temperature gradient 50....-35 degrees C Temperature of outer surface Slightly warm (less than 27 degrees C) Illumination 2 Built-fluorescent tubes Timer Switch 7 x 24 hours (week program) Input Power 115 V, 60 Hz Power consumption 0.9 kVa Weight 175 lbs.
