- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number: W912L9-11-T-0033 Notice Type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Synopsis: The following items are needed: 1 - Tandem Axel Dump Truck. The offers received will be evaluated by a best value determination. Items / Information: 1.Specifications / Requirements a.Dump Truck b.Hitch c.Air brakes for trailer d.Tandem rear axel e.Minimum of a 44,000 lb rear axle suspension f.Off-road transmission - quote both manual and automatic transmission - information should include make and model of quoted transmission g.395 hp motor h.Quote both all-wheel and standard rear-wheel drive i.Off road / traction tires j.Hand primer pump k.Block warmer l.Standard horn m.Basic stereo / radio n.Heat and air conditioning o.Color - gray or silver p.Gear ratio similar to 27.31 / 0.71 q.Able to haul in dump bed a minimum of 20 tons 2.Conditions of Use - Dump truck will be driven almost entirely on gravel, dirt or rock vehicular trails. Area is very hilly and wooded. Will be used to haul dirt, stone, rock, and recycled asphalt millings on these trails. Also used to tow bulldozers, bobcats, and other large equipment, sometimes weighing 20,000+ pounds. 3.Are willing to accept quotes for "Like New" non-titled demo models. 4.Warranty required - prefer a "years" over "miles" warranty as this vehicle has low yearly mileage. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The winning vendor will be required to be registered in CCR (Central Contractor Registry). Lack of registration in CCR will make an Offeror ineligible for award. CCR is located at www.ccr.gov or www.bpn.gov A Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order will be issued in writing. Payment: Payment by Wide Area Work Flow.
