This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W81K00-11-T-0188 and is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Publication Notice (DPN) 20110819. This solicitation is for Patient Diagnostic Quality Control Reagents to be utilized on Bio-Rad Analyzer for Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Specifically, the requirement is for the Bio-Rad Brand Lyphochek/Liquichek Reagent Controls. The anticipated base period performance is on or about 1 October 2011 through 30 September 2012, plus four twelve-month option periods (i.e., through 30 September 2016). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 325413, Diagnostic substances, in-vitro, Manufacturing.
