- This is a Sole Source Procurement with Lockheed Martin Sippican Inc. (LMS), 7 Barnabas Road, Marion, MA 02738-1421 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12.6 Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items. In addition, this procurement shall be performed Using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the authority of FAR 13.5. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a Request for Proposal (RFP) is NOT being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, San Diego, CA (NAVSUP FLC SD) intends to award a firm fixed price contract to purchase Airborne Expendable Conductivity Temperature and Depth Probe (AXCTD) on a sole source basis to LMS. This is being done under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1 to LMS as they are the sole producer of the Expendable Conductivity, Temperature and Depth Profiler which provide unique and cost effective solution to oceanographic data acquisition. The applicable NAICS: 334519, business size 500 employees. The Solicitation number is N00244-11-R-0065. The RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR FAC 2005-53 and DFARS-DCN 20100408. The requirement is for a firm fixed price supply contract for the following items: Line Item 0001: AXCTD, CH 12, Part Number 306842-1, Quantity 38 Each Line Item 0002: AXCTD, CH 14, Part Number 306842-2, Quantity 38 Each Line Item 0003: AXCTD, CH 16, Part Number 306842-3, Quantity 38 Each Government Delivery Requirements: The Government requires all material to be delivered by 60 days after contract award. If above schedule cannot be met contractors must provide an accurate and realistic delivery schedule. All transportation charges to be paid by the contractor without additional expense to the Government. Offers submitted on a basis other than F.O.B. Destination will be rejected as non-responsive and offers may be deemed unacceptable. Inspection and acceptance will be made at Destination by the Government. Delivery will be made to the Naval Post Graduate School, Monterey, CA 93943. Attn. Qing Wang. Post Award Contract Administration will be performed by NAVSUP FLC SD, Code 230.
