- NOTICE: THIS SOLICITATION IS SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES ONLY. Project Name: Control Invasive Scotch Broom in various locations within the Seashore This project is to control Invasive Scotch Broom plants. Plants of the target invasive species are interspersed with native plants, including three rare species. In addition, threatened and endangered wildlife use the project and surrounding areas. All activities will emphasize minimal impact upon the land and its natural and cultural resources. The government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract. The Period of Performance for this contract is estimated to occur September 19, 2011 through August 31, 2012. This acquisition is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 115310. The size standard is $7 million. The PSC code for this requirement is F021. This is a "Best Value" Procurement and award will be made to the offeror that is lowest price technically acceptable. To be considered technically qualified a firm must be a small business in accordance with FAR Part 19.; have a satisfactory past performance on similar work in the last three years. A site visit is scheduled for Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 9:30 AM. Additional information about the site visit can be found in Section L of the Request for Quotation.
