- The Bureau of Reclamation Albuquerque Area Office has an upcoming requirement for preparing the Daily Timestep Upper Rio Grande Water Operations Model (URGWOM) for completing 100-year simulations for climate change effects analyses. Subtasks include: developing computational methods for 100-year simulations, developing linkages to the San Luis Basin model, performing five simulations of potential climate-change scenarios, and attending meetings. Evaluation criteria may include technical capability to meet the Government requirement, price, and past performance on similar requirement. Contractor will be required to submit to and pass a background security investigation due to logical access to secured, Government information. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded resulting from Request for Quotations No. R11PS43038 using procedures prescribed by FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures, which will follow this announcement shortly. Thereafter, the full solicitation package may be accessed via link to this synopsis at www.fedbizopps.gov, or directly at http://ideas.nbc.gov. This solicitation is a total small business set aside. NAICS is 518210 with a small business size standard of $18M. PSC is D306. Prospective offerors must be registered, and must maintain an active registration, in the Central Contractor Registration database found at http://www.ccr.gov.
