- Dive Tower Questions & Answers AMENDMENT NO. 2 THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO INCLUDE THE QUESTIONS & ANSWERS. SEE ATTACHED. AMENDMENT NO. 1 1. THIS AMENDMENT PROVIDES FOR A SECOND SITE VISIT TO BE HELD THURSDAY AUGUST 25, 2011 AT 9AM PACIFIC TIME. 2. RESPONSE TO QUESTIONS ABOUT LEAD BASED PAINT. THE INTERIOR OF THE DIVE TOWER WAS LAST PAINTED IN 2005 AND LEAD BASED PAINT WAS NOT USED. ALSO, TO THE BEST OF THE GOVERNMENT'S KNOWLEDGE, WHEN THE TOWER WAS CONSTRUCTED IN 1989, NO LEAD BASED PAINT WAS USED. This is a presolicitation notice to provide painting services for the Dive Tower at the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) located in Seattle, Washington. This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 238320. The small business size standard is $14.0 million. Performance period shall be 320 days* from notice to proceed (prefer completion by 12/31/11 but can be completed as late as 4/30/12). To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov/ or by contacting CCR Customer Service Contact Information at 1-888-227-2423. All offerors must submit their representations and certifications at the Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) website at http://orca.bpn.gov. The RFQ will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov and is scheduled for issuance on or about August 14, 2011 Solicitation No. RA133M-11-RQ-3179DT. No paper copies will be issued. Additionally, the Government will not reimburse any interested parties for monies spent to respond to this solicitation notice.
